Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 08, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Everything Mermaid (the “Service”) collects, uses, and protects information. The Service is operated by Ever Evolving Software, LLC.

1. Information We Collect

A. User Content

The Service stores content you create, such as Mermaid diagram text, diagram titles, and descriptions, as well as sharing settings and permissions associated with your diagrams. This information is stored to provide the Service, including saving, rendering, and sharing diagrams.

Ever Evolving Software, LLC does not access your User Content unless required for technical troubleshooting or explicitly requested by you via email.

B. Account and Authentication Information

The Service stores limited information needed to authenticate you and to associate your account with diagrams and sharing permissions. This may include identifiers such as an email address, a unique user ID, and authentication-related metadata.

C. Technical and Usage Information

The Service may collect basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and diagnostic logs. This data is used for operating, securing, and improving the Service (for example, troubleshooting errors, preventing abuse, and analyzing performance).

2. How We Use Information

Ever Evolving Software, LLC uses information to:

  • provide and operate the Service (including storing, rendering, and sharing diagrams)
  • authenticate users and manage access controls and sharing permissions
  • maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce Service policies
  • diagnose issues, improve reliability, and optimize performance

Ever Evolving Software, LLC does not sell or rent personal information. The Service is not intended for the collection of sensitive personal data, and you should avoid storing sensitive information in diagrams.

3. Sharing and Visibility

If you enable sharing for a diagram, the content may be accessible to others depending on the sharing settings you select. You are responsible for what you choose to share and for configuring sharing permissions appropriately.

4. Data Access

Ever Evolving Software, LLC does not routinely review User Content. Access to User Content occurs only:

  • as necessary to maintain or secure the Service (for example, investigating abuse or debugging a production incident), or
  • when you explicitly request support and authorize review via email

5. Data Retention

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and operate it safely. You may delete your content where the Service provides deletion functionality. Ever Evolving Software, LLC may delete inactive, orphaned, or abandoned content and accounts, and may remove content to comply with law, address abuse, or protect the Service.

6. Security

Ever Evolving Software, LLC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Ever Evolving Software, LLC cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party infrastructure and services (such as hosting providers, authentication providers, and analytics). Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Ever Evolving Software, LLC is not responsible for third-party practices outside of the Service’s control.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age required by applicable law to consent to online data processing. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact Ever Evolving Software, LLC.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Ever Evolving Software, LLC may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Contact
